Starward Navigators (“Starward,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides client acquisition and follow-up automation software and done-for-you setup services for consulting and advisory firms. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, how we use and share it, and the choices you have.
This policy covers starwardnavigators.com and the Starward Edge application at edge.starwardnavigators.com (together, the “Services”).

Information we collect
Information you give us directly. When you request a demo, book a call, subscribe, create an account, or contact support, we collect your name, business name, email address, phone number, billing details, and anything else you choose to send us.
Information from your use of the Services. When you use Starward Edge, we collect the contact records, pipeline data, messages, appointments, notes, and files you or your team enter or upload. You control this content; we process it on your behalf so the Services work.
Information collected automatically. We and our analytics providers collect IP address, browser and device type, operating system, referring URLs, pages viewed, and timestamps, using cookies and similar technologies.
Payment information. Payments are processed by our payment providers. We receive confirmation and limited billing details, but we do not store full card numbers on our systems.
How we use information
- To provide, operate, secure, and improve the Services
- To set up your account and deliver done-for-you configuration
- To respond to enquiries, provide support, and send service messages
- To send appointment reminders, follow-ups, and other messages you have configured or consented to receive
- To process payments and manage subscriptions
- To measure marketing performance and improve our content
- To detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements
SMS and text messaging
If you provide your mobile number and opt in, we may send you text messages related to your enquiry, appointments, account, or — where you have separately consented — marketing.
Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing with subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
Cookies and analytics
We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, understand how the site is used, and measure marketing performance. This includes third-party analytics and tag management services.
Most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies through their settings. Blocking some cookies may affect how parts of the Services work.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information.

If you are a Starward customer, the contact data you load into Starward Edge remains yours. We act as a processor for that data and use it only to provide the Services to you.
Data retention
We keep personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Services, and afterwards only as required to meet legal, accounting, tax, or reporting obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Retention periods vary by data type and legal requirement.
Security
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to, a copy of, correction of, or deletion of your personal information; to object to or restrict certain processing; to opt out of marketing; and to appeal a refusal.
Residents of California may request disclosure of the categories and specific pieces of personal information collected, request deletion or correction, and opt out of sale or sharing. We do not sell personal information. You will not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.

You can unsubscribe from marketing email using the link in any marketing message, and from SMS by replying STOP.
International visitors
We are based in the United States and process information there. If you access the Services from outside the United States, you understand that your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your country.
Children
The Services are intended for businesses and are not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Third-party links
The Services may link to sites we do not operate. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites, and we encourage you to read their policies.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Material changes will be communicated through the Services or by email where appropriate.
